The
Rococo Style
The Rococo style came to Sweden 1759 -1775 . During this time
Adolf Fredrik was King of Sweden. His architect Carl Hårleman
was in charge of rebuilding the castle Tre Kronor. He engaged
architects and carpenters from France and they brought
with them the Rococo style.
This style is more asymmetric
and curved. Legs have rounded soft forms. Typical decor is wave
formation and leaves.
